Hello!

My name is Jacey Skoda and I created this website as part of my Honors senior project at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My interest in conducting this project was driven by a Human Dimensions of Fisheries and Wildlife class I took in the fall of 2021 with Dr. Christopher Chizinski, who served as my faculty mentor for this research.

It was in this class that I learned the importance of public outreach and education in making management decisions. In conducting a similar human dimensions project about feral cats in the class, I was surprised to find how few people in the UNL community (including myself) knew about the feral cats on our campus and how they are being cared for and managed. Thus began my interest in creating a resource for our community to learn more!
